■ What is the “Flat-Nosed Dog Exhibition”?
The “Flat-Nosed Dog Exhibition” is a joint photography and merchandise exhibition dedicated to “flat-nosed dogs”—breeds with short noses, such as French Bulldogs, Pugs, Boston Terriers, and Shih Tzus.
Launched in the fall of 2015, it has been held at various locations, including “TODAYS GALLERY STUDIO,” “Kashiwa Takashimaya,” and “Namba Parks.” To date, it has attracted a cumulative total of over 100,000 visitors.
One of the exhibition’s main attractions is the opportunity to see up close the work of artists—ranging from renowned professional photographers to creators who have gained popularity on social media—whose work is typically showcased primarily online.
You can fully immerse yourself in the rich “snouty cuteness”—from the expressions and gestures that only photography can capture to the unique personalities of each dog breed.
