Sanwa Electric Instruments Launches the "CD5003" Handheld Digital Multimeter, Compatible with CAT IV 600V

The CD5 Series of digital multimeters consists of a lineup of four models; the CD5001, 5002, and 5004 are already on the market, and the CD5003 has now been released.This model is equipped with more functions than the other models in the series, including mA current measurement, a built-in low-pass filter, and the ability to display composite DCV and ACV voltages as well as their individual components. It is primarily intended for use in the maintenance of factory automation (FA) equipment, such as control panels, sensors, and robot motor drive units.The unit features a sleek design that fits comfortably in one hand and is easy to operate.

Despite its compact size, it is designed with safety as a priority and complies with CAT. IV 600 V and CAT. III 1000 V standards. The large, backlit LCD display ensures excellent visibility. The central rotary switch has a wide range of motion and operates on a “one position, one function” principle, minimizing the number of steps required to perform basic measurements.Additionally, test probe holders are located on both sides of the unit, allowing probes to be stored or secured during measurements. A useful feature is the AUTOHOLD function: when a stable reading is detected after the function button is pressed, a buzzer sounds and the new reading is automatically held.
