(Headquarters: Nagata Ward, Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture; Representative Director: Yoshinobu Miyahara) and will welcome the company into the Sanyo Kogyo Group.Guided by the vision of “Revitalizing Japan’s Manufacturing Sector,” Sanyo Kogyo—which continues to grow through its dual pillars of manufacturing and temporary staffing services—is joining forces with a specialist manufacturer of rubber sponge sheets, founded in Showa 40 and boasting a history of over 60 years, to embark on a new challenge.

Miyahara Rubber Industries was founded in 1965 (Showa 40) in Nagata Ward, Kobe—a district known as the “Rubber Town.” As a specialized manufacturer of rubber sponge sheets made from natural, synthetic, and specialty synthetic rubbers, the company has continued to refine its technology for over 60 years.In 2008, it became the only manufacturer in Japan to begin producing continuous-cell rubber sponge sheets, and “Miyahara Sponge” has earned high acclaim across a wide range of fields, including the automotive, marine, construction, and sporting goods industries.With a capital of 90 million yen and a dedicated team that consists 17 employees, we have continued to manufacture our dedication and care “seriously and meticulously,” providing steadfast support behind the scenes for Japanese industry.

■A New Beginning as the Sanyo Kogyo Group

With the establishment of the group, Seijiro Kinoshita, Director of Sanyo Kogyo, assumed the position of Representative Director.Going forward, the HR Division—which handles manufacturing staffing for Sanyo Kogyo—will provide support in recruitment, retention, and training. Additionally, they plan to second employees from the GT Manufacturing Division, and the entire Sanyo Kogyo Group will work together to support the preservation of Miyahara Rubber Industries’ technical expertise and the strengthening of its on-site operations.
