Signed an Exclusive Domestic Distribution Agreement with SB C&S for “Edge AI Array,” an AI Platform for Virtual Humans

Asentec Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Takashi Matsuura; hereinafter “the Company”) is pleased to announce that it has entered into an exclusive domestic sales agreement with SB C&S Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kazuya Kusakawa;hereinafter “SB C&S”), for the exclusive domestic distribution of “Edge AI Array,” an on-premises generative AI platform optimized for virtual humans.

The use of AI in enterprises is evolving from text generation to multimodal AI that integrates voice, video, and dialogue, and interest in virtual humans—which enable natural communication—is growing, particularly in areas such as customer service, customer support, and education.However, the real-time inference and high-quality video and audio generation required to support these applications demand advanced GPU resources, and the resulting complexity of infrastructure configurations and operational burdens have become new challenges.

The “Edge AI Array” is a rack-mounted server (2U) capable of housing up to five NVIDIA AI GPUs.It allows for the integrated configuration of systems for LLM/RAG—the “brain” of the AI—and multiple front-end processing systems—the “body” of the AI—within a single chassis, making it an ideal platform for virtual humans.

It is expected to be utilized in a wide range of services—across various industries, including both local governments and the private sector—where it handles personal information on behalf of humans, such as initial sales responses, consulting services, support operations, and various reception duties.

Through SB C&S’s “Edge AI Array,” our company supports businesses in utilizing generative AI and implementing virtual humans. Through this collaboration between the two companies, we will accelerate the advancement and practical application of AI infrastructure in Japan.
