Tokyo, Japan – October 20, 2025 –
Incubion Inc. served as the official supervisor for robotics trials conducted in the “Robot Experience,” a core initiative within the Smart Mobility Expo program of Osaka-Kansai Expo 2025, Japan. The project—commissioned by Dentsu Live Inc.—was held from April 13 to October 13, 2025, on Yumeshima in Osaka.
Led by CEO Shoko Takahashi and headquartered in Tokyo, Incubion specializes in scenario design, safety management, and field implementation for service robots. The company pioneered the concept of the “Robot Experience,” later adopted by the Expo as the foundation of its robotics program—a vision centered on the sustainable coordination of people, environments, and systems that enable robots to function meaningfully in society.

About the “Robot Experience” at Expo 2025
The Robot Experience was a flagship program directly operated by the Expo Association. It integrated robots into on-site services such as food courts, lost-child centers, and logistics operations - to examine both their value and operational challenges through actual field deployment.
During the six-month exhibition, over 60 robot models from 24 organizations participated. Robots were deployed across seven locations, including the dedicated “Robot & Mobility Station” pavilion, which hosted weekly and monthly demonstrations. More than 1.3 million visitors experienced how robots can contribute to future mobility and public services.

Incubion’s Contributions
As part of the Expo’s Robot Experience Secretariat, Incubion supported the project in three key areas:
•Demonstration and Trial Scenario Design – Advised on visitor-robot interaction and traffic flow planning based on each robot’s unique characteristics.
•Safety Management – Organized an external expert committee and developed comprehensive risk-assessment and safety frameworks to enable the safe operation of multiple robots in public spaces.
•Information Integration – Linked the Expo’s official website and Visitors mobile app with Incubion’s robot information platform RobotATTA! (robotatta.com), providing updates on participating robots to visitors.

Results and Outlook
Participating organizations reported that the program enabled valuable data collection under real-world conditions, revealed areas for improvement, and raised public awareness of robotics applications.
According to CEO Shoko Takahashi, “We were honored to bring the concept of the Robot Experience—which we have championed for years—into practice at a global event like Expo 2025. It allowed developers and users to engage in genuine dialogue to build society where people, environments, and systems can evolve together. We hope to expand such initiatives and continue fostering a society where humans and robots truly collaborate.”
Following the outcomes of the Expo, Incubion continues to strengthen its support for collaborative trial environments that help stakeholders identify and address real-world issues related to human-robot interaction, safety, cost and infrastructure, lowering barriers to robot adoption and advancing the use of robotics as a practical solution to societal challenges.
