The students of Jonan Gakuen Osaka Jonan Women's Junior College, Department of Contemporary Life Studies, Welfare Design Course (Location: Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture; Department Chair: Koichiro Nakatsu) have started a project to develop a new "nursing food" on the crowdfunding site "Air Rail" under the theme "The Joy of Eating Until Age 100. This project will be completed in February 2025. The project will run until February 13, 2025.

Let's work hard for the elderly through industry-academia collaboration!

Background of development

Elderly people sometimes lose the pleasure of eating as their ability to chew as well as swallow weakens. Commercially available nursing care food is monotonous in appearance and uniform in taste, making it difficult to experience the joy of eating.

In cooperation with Nakom Co., Ltd. we are working on the development of "delicious and enjoyable nursing care food" that is creative in appearance and taste. We hope you will support this project to bring smiles to people's faces through food.

By faithfully reproducing the appearance of food and filling it with aroma and flavor, we provide nursing care food that stimulates the appetite. This restores the joy of eating and leads to the pleasure of living. 2.

Soft pastes that can be crushed with the tongue and thickened sauces whose smoothness can be adjusted by mixing them together enable us to provide the most suitable meal form for each individual according to his/her physical condition and circumstances. 3.

We have developed a new menu that reproduces nostalgic tastes and memorable dishes, while at the same time taking health into consideration. We aim to provide meals that satisfy both mind and body.

4. participation in the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo

We will participate as an industry-academia collaboration partner of NACOM Corporation, which will exhibit at the Future Life EXPERIENCE, a showcase of future society at Expo '70 Osaka/Kansai in 2025. We will be actively involved in the planning, development, exhibition, and operation of the event under the theme of nursing care food of the future, and will communicate the appeal of our efforts not only to those in the nursing care industry, but also to many people who are unfamiliar with nursing care food.

5,000 yen: "Saikou no Yawaragi" set + arrangement recipe book

3,000 yen: Nakomu set (beef doria)

2,500 yen: Troppy Curry + coffee (3 kinds) set

*Troppy Curry is a product invented by students of Osaka Jonan Women's Junior College and won the 4th Takarazuka Curry Grand Prix, and coffee was also invented by students for women.
