About Aerialphoto Service

Based on the OSS flight software ArduPilot (Note 1), which is used for many drones, the Aerialphoto service is a unique drone solution provider in Japan that allows agile design and development of flight control software linked with sensors such as LiDAR and mechanisms such as original gimbals for mounting commercial cameras, according to the field work applications. We are a unique drone solution provider in Japan. In the field of infrastructure facility inspections, not only are facilities aging, but there is also a shortage of human resources due to the aging of the population, and effective use of drones is required. We not only develop drone systems based on domestically produced technology to meet the needs of on-site applications, but also provide support for the reskilling of personnel involved in on-site work, thereby realizing drone-based DX for on-site work and helping to solve social issues.

The aerial photography service was established in January 2015 as a new business field, as Tetsuo Yamamoto, CEO of the company, is himself a radio-controlled helicopter pilot and has had an interest in the drone field since the early 2010s.
