Near-Future Human vs. AI Car Race to be Held in Nagareyama City, Chiba Prefecture on December 3 Future Business Plans of C1 Ltd.

C1 Ltd. (Head Office: Kashiwa City, Chiba Prefecture; President: Yuki Hayashi), in cooperation with Yokomo, Inc. (Head Office: Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture; President: Hisao Tateishi), will hold the "C1/X 2023 Rd. 2 NYC" (C1/X reads "sea one tenth"), a competition to determine the best car builder in Japan (human versus AI), on December 3, 2023 (Sunday) at Nagareyama City Lifelong Learning Center in Nagareyama City, Chiba Prefecture. Ride on a 1/10th size radio-controlled car! experience will also be available. Admission is free, and no advance registration is required.

Operation of C1/X

C1/X" is a race using 1/10th the size of future road-legal cars, and the following three types of cars will compete in this year's event.

Propo-FPV: Operated remotely with a radio while viewing images from an on-board camera through VR goggles or a monitor.

Cockpit-FPV: Remote control by sitting in the cockpit and using the steering wheel and pedals while viewing the in-vehicle camera images through AR glasses

AI: Automatic driving

This will be the third tournament following the first "C1/X 2022 TSUKUBA" in December 2022 and the second "C1/X 2023 Rd.1 OSAKA" held in April 2023 as an event within the Sakishima Pre-Expo and the ATC OSAKA MIRAI EXPO.

C1 Business Concept

C1 Ltd. is working based on the above business concept. At this convention, our device that enables Cockpit-FPV operation of drones will also be exhibited, with a view to utilizing it for the C1-A, C1-M, and BeastBusters businesses in the Event business. You can even sit in the cockpit, so if you wish to do so, please ask our staff on the day of the event.

C1 Ltd. has been selected for the Sakishima Tech Lab Program and is a candidate to exhibit in the Osaka Healthcare Pavilion at Osaka Expo 2025. We are also aiming to hold a race during the exhibition period of Osaka/Kansai Expo 2025, and are looking for collaborating companies and sponsors. Please contact us if you are interested.
