[About “Milk D’Drake”]
We are Hokkaido’s first specialty shop dedicated to “fresh-made” donuts. Our first store opened in Sapporo on Tuesday, February 14, 2023. Since then, we’ve been featured in the media and on social media, and we’ve had lines of customers every day.
“Freshly made donuts” are distinct from traditional donuts—they feature a texture that practically melts away the moment you put them in your mouth, and they’re so soft they almost fall apart when held in your hand. Their perfectly round shape is adorable, prompting a flood of social media posts, and they’re currently the hottest dessert trend in Hokkaido.
“Milk D’Doreik” fresh-made donuts feature a moist, smooth dough made primarily from wheat flour sourced from the vast plains of Tokachi in Hokkaido, with generous amounts of eggs and butter. The milk, pasteurized at low temperatures and raised on Hokkaido farms without preservatives, adds a rich depth of flavor and natural sweetness. We also offer a variety of flavored creams, all based on rich fresh cream made from raw milk sourced from the Nekushin region of Hokkaido. Furthermore, by frying them quickly at a high temperature, we ensure the outside is crispy while the inside has a melt-in-your-mouth texture, similar to fresh cream.
Our product lineup consists of 11 varieties of donuts, ranging from popular regular menu items like “Pure Fresh Whip” and “Homemade Custard” to store-exclusive offerings. In addition, we offer 5 varieties of fresh scones—including our rich butter scone—for a total of 16 varieties.
As a grand opening special, we plan to run a campaign where customers who add us as a friend on our official LINE account will receive a 100-yen discount on their first purchase.
