Three New Products to Enjoy Christmas

■ Enjoy not just “decorating” for Christmas, but the anticipation leading up to it as well.

As Christmas approaches, people start decorating their homes with trees and gradually begin their preparations.

There’s a special joy in the anticipation leading up to the big day—a joy distinct from the day itself.

At Oak Village, we offer Christmas items that incorporate scents, sounds, and small daily pleasures, all built on the warmth of domestically sourced solid wood.

Don’t just decorate with wood—enjoy the scents, listen to the sounds, and count down to Christmas one day at a time.

Please enjoy this time of experiencing the season through your five senses, together with wood.

■“Christmas Tree: Winter Scents”—Enjoying Fragrance and the Warmth of Wood

Christmas Tree: Forest Fragrance

[Add a few drops of essential oil to the tree to infuse it with the scent of winter]

We’ve added the function of an aroma diffuser to this Christmas tree, which lets you feel the warmth of the wood while enjoying its scent.

The base can hold an aroma stone engraved with the “yuica” logo; by adding a few drops of the included original essential oil, you can enjoy the fragrance along with the tree.

More than just a Christmas decoration, this piece of furniture creates a cozy winter atmosphere through its scent and the natural texture of the wood.

Additionally, the ornaments adorning the tree feature nuts harvested from the forests of Hida Takayama, glass, and wooden balls made from various types of wood. The unique character of these natural materials enhances the warmth of the wooden tree.

■“Music Box Tree Petit”: Enjoy It Along with Its Melodies

Music Box Tree Petit (Green/Natural)

Turn the leaves to make them spin and hear the melody

The “Music Box Tree Petit” plays a gentle melody when you turn its leaves.

This year’s song is “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town,” adding a festive touch to your Christmas celebrations.

Its compact size makes it perfect for displaying in your entryway or on a shelf, making it a Christmas tree ornament you can enjoy as part of your daily life.

This item also features ornaments made from materials sourced from the forests of Hida Takayama, such as nuts, glass, and balls crafted from different types of wood.

■“Advent Calendar” for 24 Days of Joy

Advent Calendar

A townscape that unfolds as you arrange the blocks—also serves as a beautiful interior decoration

A wooden Advent calendar to enjoy the days leading up to Christmas.

The 24 building blocks can hold treats, small gifts, messages, and more. As you take out one block each day—featuring doors and windows branded with a hot-stamp—and arrange them, a small townscape gradually unfolds.

What’s more, each time you remove a block, a mechanism reveals a little more of the festive indoor scene hidden behind the deep window frames.

This Advent calendar lets you enjoy the anticipation itself by repeating the small daily pleasures of “opening,” “removing,” and “arranging” the blocks.

Another feature is that even after Christmas, you can enjoy the block townscape and the wooden structure as part of your home décor.

■Waiting for Christmas with the tree.

Christmas isn’t just about the day itself—it’s about enjoying the time leading up to it as well.

Take in the scents, listen to the sounds, and open one door each day.

As these small pleasures accumulate, the time leading up to Christmas becomes a cherished memory shared with family and loved ones.

Oak Village offers a lifestyle where you can enjoy not only the warmth of wood but also the time spent anticipating the seasons.

■Living with the Forest: The Future of Oak Village

Guided by the philosophy that “a tree that took 100 years to grow should become something that lasts 100 years,” Oak Village has continued to craft furniture and household items using domestically sourced wood.

“We want to discover the charm of domestic wood and deliver it in ways that fit seamlessly into daily life. And we want to revitalize Japan’s forests.” Cherishing these sentiments, we will continue to craft products with the goal of building a circular society.
