Grand Marble, a Kyoto-based specialty shop for marble danishes celebrating its 30th anniversary, will open its first store at Fukuoka Airport on October 2, featuring four products exclusive to Kyushu.

Grand Marble Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: 93 Kamitoba Kitashimada-cho, Minami-ku, Kyoto; President and CEO: Masanori Yamamoto), a specialty shop for marble danishes originating in Kyoto, will open its first limited-time store at Fukuoka Airport starting Friday, October 2, 2026.

At the Daimaru Airport Shop on the second floor of the Fukuoka Airport Domestic Passenger Terminal Building, limited-edition marble danishes—created in collaboration with renowned Kyushu specialty products—will be available exclusively at Fukuoka Airport.

We decided to open this store out of a desire to introduce Gran Marble—which has been well-received at Haneda Airport and Osaka International Airport—to the people of Kyushu, so they can become more familiar with our brand and feel a closer connection to it.

Through this collaboration with Kyushu’s finest products, we’re bringing new flavors to you from Fukuoka Airport.

We’ve combined the sweet-and-sour, vibrant flavor of Amauou with the mellow taste of chocolate to create a perfectly balanced sweetness. This is a delightful treat where the refreshing tartness of Amauou and the rich flavor of chocolate come together.

Committed to quality and safety, Fukuya delivers mentaiko with a “single-minded focus on deliciousness” while supporting Hakata’s food culture.

In addition, the company is involved in various activities related to the local community and culture, including support for the traditional “Hakata Gion Yamakasa” festival.

Based in Shibushi City, Kagoshima Prefecture, the company is committed to “tea production that is gentle on people and the environment”—without relying solely on chemical pesticides—based on the belief that “good tea comes from a healthy environment.”

At one of the largest factories in Japan, the company processes tea leaves from approximately 70 tea growers, including contract farmers, and is working not only to support individual farms but also to build a foundation for regional agriculture through collaborative efforts.

Founded in 1942 as “the birthplace of Hakata chocolate,” this specialty Western confectionery shop has been a beloved fixture in Fukuoka and Hakata for over 80 years.

The shop offers approximately 100 varieties of Western-style confections, baked goods, and chocolates, most of which are handmade by artisans. Guided by the motto “Safety and Peace of Mind,” each item is carefully crafted one by one.
