(Headquarters: Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture; Representative Director: Takuro Tsunekawa; commonly known as Miniature Factory) markets “Rubbers,” a line of pull-back model cars built on a common chassis.Recently, at the request of JR Tokai Agency Co., Ltd., the company produced a product modeled after the 923-series Shinkansen electric track testing vehicle, “Doctor Yellow.” It went on sale on July 22, 2026, at the “Maglev & Railway Museum Shop” in Minato Ward, Nagoya, and is currently selling well.This product marks the first collaboration item for “Rubbers” and is also the brand’s first retail release.

■ About “Doctor Yellow Lovers”

Doctor Yellow is a service Shinkansen train that inspects overhead wires, signals, and tracks while in motion to ensure the safe operation of the Tokaido and Sanyo Shinkansen lines. Due to its yellow body color, it is said to “bring happiness to those who see it” and has been beloved by the public for many years.

Miniature Factory was commissioned by JR Tokai Agency Co., Ltd. in March 2026 to design this product. After undergoing supervision, it was brought to market and has been on sale at the Linear & Railway Museum since July 22.

■ What are “Rubbers”?

“Rubbers” are custom-order pull-back miniature cars from Miniature Factory that depict various modes of transportation—such as trains, cars, and airplanes—using soft rubber.

By using a common chassis for the drivetrain, the body can feature original designs tailored to specific companies, facilities, or vehicles. This allows for the production of custom products in small lots (starting from 1,000 units) within a relatively short timeframe and at a low initial cost. Since characters can be placed inside the vehicles, these items can also be marketed as fan merchandise or character goods.A strap is included, so you can attach it to a bag or other item for easy portability.

They can be used for a variety of purposes, such as commemorative items for companies and facilities, fan merchandise, and products for museum shops.

In June 2026, we exhibited at the “Oshi-katsu EXPO” held in Tokyo, where our ability to produce custom merchandise in small batches drew significant interest.
