アセンテック株式会社
Asentec Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Takashi Matsuura;hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) is pleased to announce that Soliton Systems Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Osamu Kamata) has adopted the Company’s “Remote PC Array 100” as the terminal infrastructure for its department operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
We are also pleased to announce that a case study detailing this implementation has been posted on our website.

From individual physical management to centralized management: Reduced operational burden and secure hybrid work achieved with “Remote PC Array,” “Soliton SecureWorkspace,” and “SmartOn”
■Background of the Implementation
Soliton Systems’ IT Service Center Department had been providing 24/7, 365-day operational monitoring and incident response for the company’s own security products.Previously, each operator was assigned a physical PC; however, with the transition to Windows 11, numerous operational challenges came to light, including an increase in kitting work associated with device replacements, limited installation space, and the need for on-site support when device issues arose.
In addition, frequent turnover among temporary and contract staff placed a significant burden on administrators due to the need for ongoing device configuration and re-kitting.
■Reasons for Selection
・Allows for operation as simple as that of physical PCs
・Significantly reduces space requirements
・High compatibility with the company’s security products
■Benefits of Implementation
・Significantly reduces the time required for device replacement and kitting
・Reduces operational and maintenance burdens through centralized management
・Enables secure hybrid work through integration with our own products

■What Is a Remote PC Array?
This remote access solution consolidates multiple physical PC cartridges and the components necessary for virtual desktops into a single 1U chassis. We designed and developed it in-house, drawing on the expertise we have cultivated through over 20 years of experience in selling and deploying virtual desktops.
While traditional virtual desktops provide high security and a flexible telework environment, their deployment and operation have traditionally required advanced IT skills and a significant amount of time. The Remote PC Array pursues “improved PC consolidation rates,” “reduced implementation costs,” “shorter implementation periods,” and “enhanced maintainability and operability” while maintaining robust security. Its excellent operability has been highly praised, and it has now been implemented in numerous companies and local governments.

Remote PC Array Usage Overview
Features
・No hypervisor is required, significantly shortening the design and deployment period and drastically reducing initial implementation costs
・Performance issues are minimized through a “one user, one cartridge” model
・Reduces maintenance and operational costs through a simple configuration and management system
・Consists of PC cartridges with identical specifications, making it ideal as an execution environment for RPA scenarios
