DAIMYO SOFTCREAM, which originated in Daimyo, Fukuoka, is opening a new location in the international terminal of Fukuoka Airport, a hub visited by many people from both Japan and abroad. We look forward to welcoming everyone to this new spot where travelers departing from or arriving in Fukuoka can casually enjoy soft-serve ice cream originating from Fukuoka.

DAIMYO SOFTCREAM is a soft-serve ice cream specialty shop that began in Daimyo, Fukuoka. Its signature product is “Premium Fresh Cream Milk,” characterized by its rich milky flavor and smooth melt-in-your-mouth texture. Using an Italian-made soft-serve machine, the shop strives to create a unique, marshmallow-like appearance and a flavor that is rich yet light.

Another signature feature of DAIMYO SOFTCREAM is our original jet-black cone, made with natural bamboo charcoal.

The new store is located on the 3rd floor of the Fukuoka Airport International Passenger Terminal Building, in the area beyond security screening. This provides an opportunity for many people—including travelers heading overseas and international visitors to Fukuoka—to discover DAIMYO SOFTCREAM.

The store’s exterior features a simple design with a wood-grain façade and a gleaming white logo sign. At the storefront, we’ve displayed an image of soft-serve ice cream served in our original jet-black cones made with natural bamboo charcoal, aiming to create a presence that makes “DAIMYO SOFTCREAM” instantly recognizable—even within the limited time travelers have before boarding.

This brand, which began in Daimyo, Fukuoka, is now expanding from the airport—Fukuoka’s gateway—to destinations both domestic and international. We aim to offer visitors to Fukuoka a “taste that embodies Fukuoka” and provide those departing from Fukuoka with a “moment of relaxation before their journey.”

The first thing that catches your eye upon entering the store is the original artwork covering an entire wall. The space is adorned with works by multiple artists, and pieces previously used at “FUKUOKA CRAFT Daimyo,” a craft beer shop operated by the same group, have been adopted for this Fukuoka International Airport location as well.

The murals depicting the “Old Man Offering Beer” and the “Tiger Guarding the Beer Keg” were created by illustrator Tochihara. With a unique style that blends elements of graphic design, illustration, and street culture, he has produced artwork and murals for a variety of brands.

This space, where Tochihara’s artistic vision blends with that of DAIMYO SOFTCREAM, offers more than just a place to enjoy soft-serve ice cream—it’s also a photo spot that will naturally make you want to snap a picture. Whether you’re departing from Fukuoka or visiting the city, we aim to create a store that leaves a lasting impression on your journey through both “food” and “art.”
