Announcement of the 4th Children’s Future Summit in Kobe

■ “Today Is a Turning Point”—Children’s Potential Is Limitless

Every child possesses a unique personality and irreplaceable potential. At the same time, many families face challenges related to child-rearing and development, such as “difficulty staying calm,” “struggling to adjust to school life,” “communication difficulties,” and “inability to maintain focus.”

The “Children’s Future Summit” is an event where neurosurgeons, educators, food education experts, and practitioners supporting children with developmental challenges share their insights and experiences to explore, from multiple perspectives, ways to bring out the innate potential of children.

Since the first summit held on Miyako Island in 2023, we have addressed a variety of themes related to child development and education. For this fourth summit, under the theme “Today Is a Turning Point,” we will explore children’s futures, the future of education, food and living environments, and ways of life that we can pass on to the next generation.

■ An Interdisciplinary Approach Combining the Brain, Nutrition, and Restful Environments

For the keynote address, we are pleased to welcome Dr. Nobuyoshi Shinoura, a neurosurgeon and Doctor of Medicine who has been a speaker at every event since the first.

In recent years, Dr. Shinohara has been implementing a multifaceted approach for children facing developmental challenges by combining the following three elements:

・“Simple Concentration (Meditation),” a health device that uses sound to promote relaxation and focus

・A dietary regimen that utilizes natural broths to incorporate minerals into daily meals

• Creating a restful environment using “AlphaSleem,” bedding infused with minerals

By supporting children not only through acoustic stimulation of the brain but also by addressing their daily diet and rest environment, cases have been reported where positive changes were observed in various aspects of daily life, such as speech, concentration, social interaction, emotional regulation, and adaptation to group settings.

At this summit, Dr. Shinoura will explain the philosophy behind these initiatives and discuss the growth and changes actually observed in children, using specific case examples.

■ Changes in Children Confirmed Through Developmental Assessments and Daily Life

Among the children who participated in the program, there are cases where developmental progress in social skills, language, perception, and physical development was confirmed in developmental assessments conducted after a certain period.

Furthermore, the following changes have been reported from homes, daycare centers, and educational settings:

・An increase in vocabulary and two-word sentences, enabling them to express their feelings

・They showed increased interest in people other than themselves, such as family members and friends

・They were able to shift their moods more quickly, and their tantrums decreased

・They were able to spend more time calmly in group settings

・Changes have been observed in daily life aspects such as eating, sleeping, and toileting

・A willingness to try new things and a sense of confidence have developed

On the day of the event, we plan to highlight the children’s growth—which cannot be fully conveyed by numbers alone—as well as the changes observed by their families and childcare and education professionals.

■ Special Guest: Mr. Taihei Takizawa

Our special guest will be Mr. Taihei Takizawa, Representative Director of Yatsuha Co., Ltd., Representative Director of Yatsugatake Peace Farm Co., Ltd., and Representative Director of the General Incorporated Association Kibutsu Yatsugatake.

Mr. Takizawa has traveled the world exploring sustainable societies and communities, and is currently working to create a model for a circular society at the southern foot of Mount Yatsugatake.

At this summit, he will speak from a broad perspective about the future of the Earth on which our children will live, sustainable societies, and what we should leave for the next generation and what way of life we should pass on to them.
