The “Sagami Vibes Kids Market,” held as part of “SAGAMI VIBES PARK vol. 3,” is an experiential market now in its second year where children take on the entire process—from “thinking, creating, preparing, selling, and teaching”—and participate as stallholders. The goal is not just to sell items, but to foster initiative, creativity, and communication skills by having children think about what to make, devise ways to present their ideas effectively, and engage in repeated interactions with others. This initiative supports children’s desire to “give it a try” within the local community and creates opportunities where each child’s challenge builds their confidence.

■ Event Concept
We are hosting SAGAMI VIBES in Sagamihara, based on the concept of “Culture × Community Revitalization.” It’s a place where a variety of shops, foods, and experiences come together, and where visitors can respect each other’s values and cultures.
That is the kind of space SAGAMI VIBES aims to create.
We hope to attract as many people as possible and help local residents grow to love Sagamihara even more.
For those from outside the city, we hope it will serve as an opportunity to get to know Sagamihara.
We aim to create an event that is rooted in the community and connects people with one another and with the city.
