"Kara-High Garden": A Festival to Savour Local Fried Chicken and Highballs Held at Copis Kichijoji from Sunday, September 20, through Tuesday, September 22 (a national holiday)

Coppice Kichijoji (located in Musashino City, Tokyo) will host “Kara-High Garden,” an event where visitors can fully enjoy fried chicken and highballs, for three days from Sunday, September 20, 2026, through Tuesday, September 22 (a national holiday), at the GREENING Plaza on the 3rd floor of Building A.
At the venue, visitors can enjoy carefully selected local fried chicken from three regions, as well as rare canned highballs that are hard to find in supermarkets or convenience stores. The stage will feature live performances by Oita’s local mascot, singer-songwriters, and comedy and rakugo clubs from various universities, all helping to liven up the atmosphere.This is an event where you can fully enjoy highballs and karaage under the pleasant autumn sky.

● Karaage Daikichi (Nakatsu, Oita)
A specialty fried chicken shop originating in Nakatsu City, Oita Prefecture.
The karaage, slowly marinated in a secret soy sauce-based sauce, is characterized by a crispy, aromatic exterior and a juicy interior. It is one of the leading brands representing “Nakatsu Karaage,” which is well-known nationwide.

We offer highballs from Matsui Shuzo Gomei Kaisha in Kurayoshi City, Tottori Prefecture—which won a Gold Award at the “World Premix Awards 2026,” an international RTD (*1) competition held in the UK—as well as highballs made with “Loch Lomond Signature,” which won the Grand Gold Award and was inducted into the Hall of Fame at the Tokyo Whisky & Spirits Competition (TWSC)2024, as well as craft highballs made by Reijin Shuzo in Suwa City, Nagano Prefecture, by mixing the highball with the “brewing water” used for their sake—we’ve assembled a lineup of canned highballs that’s anything but ordinary.

We’re hosting an acoustic live performance by Yuria, a singer-songwriter and manager of Oita Onsen-za, who was born in Oita Prefecture and is currently based in Tokyo!
Born and raised in Oita, Yuria will perform covers of songs by artists from Oita Prefecture as well as other songs with ties to the local area, all infused with her love for her hometown.
Be sure to come to the venue and enjoy her crystal-clear vocals, which have been highly praised on YouTube and TikTok.
