“MIYASHITA CAFE +softcream” (located on the 2nd floor of RAYARD MIYASHITA PARK South in Shibuya Ward, Tokyo), operated by EFM Co., Ltd., celebrated its 6th anniversary on August 4, 2026. To mark this occasion, the café will undergo a major menu overhaul starting Saturday, August 29.As its new signature offerings, the café will simultaneously launch all seven varieties of the “MIYASHITA Crepe Soft” crêpe series, which took two years to develop. In addition, the “Simple Crepe” line—designed to let customers enjoy the crêpe itself in its simplest form—will be introduced, completely revamping the lineup.

■ 6th Anniversary. From a Soft-Serve Ice Cream Café to a Crêpe Café
“MIYASHITA CAFE +softcream” opened on August 4, 2020, alongside the opening of RAYARD MIYASHITA PARK. For the past six years, we have focused on serving our homemade soft-serve ice cream and Taiwanese castella.
Over these six years, as we’ve served customers from Japan and abroad visiting Shibuya, we’ve received numerous requests for “sweets you can enjoy while walking” and “substantial desserts.” As we explored ways to let customers savor the appeal of soft-serve ice cream for longer and more richly, we arrived at the conclusion that crepes were the answer.
We designed the crepe batter from scratch specifically to pair with soft-serve ice cream, and after two years of development, we finally perfected a recipe we’re proud of.
■The Stars of the Show: The Crepe Batter and Soft-Serve Ice Cream
We use plenty of grass-fed butter—made from the milk of cows raised on pasture—in the crepe batter. The result is an elegant, perfectly baked crepe that exudes the rich, natural aroma of butter and a light, lingering richness that doesn’t leave a heavy aftertaste. The thinly baked crepe releases the aroma of butter the moment you pick it up.

We carefully craft each piece by hand.
We top it with house-made soft serve from “DAIMYO SOFTCREAM,” a specialty soft-serve shop originating in Fukuoka. Made using an Italian machine, it features a fine, velvety texture that melts in your mouth. Rich yet with a clean finish, it complements the butter’s flavor with every bite without overpowering it.
Our sauces are carefully prepared in-house using hand-selected French fruit purees, blended with fresh fruit. We use only high-quality chocolate that allows the distinct character of the cacao to shine through.
These crêpes don’t rely on excessive sweetness; instead, the natural flavors of the ingredients shine through.

■ Choose Your Soft-Serve Flavor: Create Your Perfect Crepe
You can choose the soft-serve flavor to be paired with your crêpe. We offer the classic and most popular “Premium Fresh Cream Milk,” the “Yame Matcha Soft-Serve” (a huge hit with international guests), and seasonal limited-edition flavors. Enjoy your favorite creation with a combination tailored to your taste. (We plan to offer “Black Sesame Soft-Serve” in September.)
Yame Matcha Soft-Serve: The “Yame Matcha Soft-Serve,” with its irresistibly refreshing tea aroma, is one of our staple flavors. We use Yame matcha from “Hoshino Sechaen.” Cultivated using traditional Hon-Gyokuro methods—“pursuing the essence and passing on authenticity”—this matcha is characterized by its fragrant aroma and rich flavor. It pairs perfectly with DAIMYO SOFTCREAM’s rich milk.

The “Yame Matcha Soft Serve” is also hugely popular with international visitors. It uses Yame matcha from “Hoshino Tea Garden.”
Black Sesame Soft Serve (Seasonal, September only): This soft serve is made with a generous amount of black sesame, and the unique texture and nutty aroma of the sesame pair exquisitely with the sweetness of the milk. It has been featured on TV in the past and is a hugely popular flavor.

The “Black Sesame Soft Serve,” available only in September. The toasty black sesame and the sweetness of the milk pair perfectly.
