Kurofune Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Jiyugaoka, Meguro-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Shigeno Araki) will reopen its Jiyugaoka flagship store on Friday, September 4, 2026, to commemorate the 20th anniversary of its opening.

Renovation Highlights

The confectionery brand “Kurofune” has continued to create memorable sweets by combining the natural power of ingredients with traditional craftsmanship. As part of this renovation, the brand will launch a new brown sugar caramel pudding made with carefully selected ingredients, as well as an original eco-bag.

Kurofune is a confectionery brand originating in Jiyugaoka, Tokyo, that has continued to craft sweets with a focus on ingredients, production methods, and design, guided by the concept of “True flavor, with a true heart.”

With the renovation of our Jiyugaoka flagship store, we have revamped the sales floor layout to create a space where customers can shop at their leisure.

Brown Sugar Caramel Pudding

Our new “Kurofune Brown Sugar Caramel Pudding” features eggs from chickens carefully raised at Sakamoto Poultry Farm in Nara Prefecture. Made with milk and fresh cream from Hokkaido for a smooth texture, it is paired with a caramel sauce containing Okinawan brown sugar, allowing you to enjoy a rich sweetness and deep, complex flavor.
