The “Mineral Capital” (commonly known as “MineCapi”) mineral event, organized by the General Incorporated Association Mineral Capital, will be held from Friday, September 18, 2026, to Sunday, September 20, 2026, at the Tamagawa Takashimaya Arena Hall and Arena Salon.The event has been held at this venue since 2023, and this year marks its fourth edition at this location (the sixth overall).

■What Kind of Event Is Mineral Capital?

Mineral Capital plans and operates mineral events based on the concept of “bringing smiles to all gem and mineral enthusiasts.” This event is designed so that not only regular mineral show attendees but also those who have never visited a mineral show before—including children—can enjoy the experience of “buying from gem and mineral professionals”! We look forward to seeing you there.

2. Get tools for observing gemstones and minerals

There are various tools available to help you fully appreciate the charm of gemstones and minerals.

Let’s use tools favored by professionals—such as 10x magnifying glasses, tweezers, LED lights, and UV lights—to peer into the inner world invisible to the naked eye.

3. Experience a Gemstone Workshop

Three workshops will be held at the venue.

Under the guidance of artisans, you can experience setting gemstones into authentic jewelry, cutting loose gemstones (the raw stones before they become jewelry), creating loose gemstones from scratch, or trying your hand at polishing.

Some workshops require reservations, while others are open to walk-ins on the day of the event, so be sure to give them a try.

■ “Single-Face Crystal Polishing Experience” Taught by a Crystal Master

[Single-Face Crystal Polishing Experience]

In this experience, you’ll hold a highly transparent raw crystal from Brazil between your fingers and polish one of its faces. The moment the face you’ve polished yourself begins to sparkle will fill you with a sense of accomplishment and wonder. The session takes about 10 minutes, and elementary school students and older are welcome to participate.
