The General Incorporated Association for the Promotion of Culture, Arts, and Sports, in collaboration with Eizan Electric Railway Co., Ltd., will host the “Yase Eiden ‘Station’ Craft Beer Festival 2026” at Yase-Hieizanguchi Station for three days, from Friday, September 4, to Sunday, September 6, 2026.

This event transforms the platform—still covered by the same large roof that has stood since the station’s opening in 1925 (Taishō 14)—into a “Beer Home,” and the parked trains into “Beer Trains,” allowing visitors to enjoy craft beers from Kyoto and other regions in a unique atmosphere.Held in a nostalgic station building surrounded by the natural beauty of Mount Hiei and the Takano River, the event will also feature food that pairs perfectly with craft beer.Admission is free (food and drinks are charged separately). Additionally, a limited-edition original beer glass (2,000 yen; limited to 150 per day) created in collaboration with the “Hiei” sightseeing train will be on sale, and purchasers will receive a 50-yen discount on every drink.
This event offers a refreshing summer experience at the nostalgic Yase-Hieizanguchi Station, surrounded by the natural beauty of Mount Hiei and the Koya River.
