GienTech Japan Holds Its First “AI Salon” Second Session to Be Held on August 28, Open to External Participants
Discussing the Future of Autonomous Application Development Under the Theme of “AI SDLC”
GienTech Japan Co,. Ltd. GienTech Consulting Japan Co, Ltd.
GienTech Japan Co., Ltd. and GienTech Consulting Japan Co., Ltd. held the first “AI Salon” on Tuesday, July 28, 2026. The second session will be held on Friday, August 28, and external participants are also welcome to attend.
For the inaugural session, Minsoo Ko of GienTech Consulting Japan Co., Ltd. served as the speaker and presented on the theme of “AI SDLC — An Autonomous Application Development Platform Where Humans Make Decisions and AI Executes.”

Scenes from the First AI Salon
During the presentation, Minsoo Ko introduced the concept of an “autonomous application development platform,” in which humans are responsible for decision-making while AI performs practical tasks.
Moving beyond conventional AI-assisted code generation, the session explored a new development model in which AI is involved throughout the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), consistently supporting and executing processes ranging from requirements definition and design to implementation, testing, and maintenance. The presentation also covered the underlying concept and initiatives toward realizing this new development approach.
The discussion following the presentation focused not only on how to provide AI with appropriate instructions, such as scripts and prompts, but also on how to define appropriate prerequisites, permissions, and scopes of authority and decision-making. Participants exchanged practical views on how to prevent AI from expanding its reasoning beyond what is necessary or making unintended inferences.
The discussion also extended beyond technical considerations to quality assurance in AI-assisted software development, as well as accountability in the event of errors or incidents resulting from AI-generated decisions. Active discussions took place from the perspectives of governance and risk management, and numerous questions were raised by participants.
GienTech Japan Co., Ltd. and GienTech Consulting Japan Co., Ltd. will continue to hold the AI Salon on a regular basis. Through the sharing of the latest technologies and practical use cases related to AI and digital transformation (DX), the companies aim to foster a community where customers, partner companies, and technology professionals can exchange knowledge and create new value together.
