He holds a 2nd-dan black belt in Orthodox Shaolin Kempo and has established his own unique “power-based action” style, drawing on his experience in Nippon Kempo and full-contact karate.He calls himself a “Kung Fu Armwrestler” and founded “Rikigen-do” (The Way of Manifesting Strength), which fuses martial arts with power sports.

On variety shows, he has appeared alongside former Osaka Pro-Wrestling star Spell Delfin in a tug-of-war match, as well as former Hanshin Tigers player Masayuki Kakefu. Additionally, his senior on the university baseball team was former Hanshin Tigers pitcher Toshiro Yufune.
