A photography exhibition titled “LUMINA,” featuring photographer Daisuke Kiyota and actress Takao Ayatsuki, will be held from Wednesday, August 19, 2026, through Monday, August 24, 2026, at the America Bridge Gallery in Ebisu, Tokyo.
LUMINA: Memories of Light
Set in Hokkaido, where model Takao Ayatsuki spent her childhood, this exhibition traces the memories, emotions, and perspectives that remain in that land, offering a fresh perspective on the contours of human existence and memory. The works are presented as an installation where photography, space, and light intertwine.

《Exhibition Statement》
The light of days long past.
The wind caressing my cheek.
The glimmer on the water’s surface.
The scent of grass, sounds from afar.
The gaze from that moment and the emotions that linger in my heart.
Things that grow hazy with time, yet still linger without fading away. Trajectories that seem to be guided, linking together in layers upon layers, form the essence of that person.
This exhibition traces the vast natural landscapes of Hokkaido, where actress Takao Ayatsuki spent her childhood, as well as the gaze she left behind there, the lingering echoes of her emotions, the trails of light, and the traces of her memories.

What is captured here is the light she might have seen; the emotions that passed through her; memories of colors and scents; and the forms of memory that are reflected within the viewer.
As we trace that light and those memories, we do more than simply relive her memories. We also gently touch upon our own past and emotions, reflected there.
And we take another look at what remains within ourselves.

Born in Tokyo in 1980; graduated from the First Faculty of Letters at Waseda University. Photographer. Full member of the APA (Japan Advertising Photographers’ Association, a public interest incorporated association). Owner of “Kiyota Photo Studio.” Recipient of numerous awards in domestic and international competitions. Specializes in advertising photography and commercial magazine spreads.

Born October 23, 1990. Debuted at age 12. After gaining prominence as a junior idol, he has been active in a wide range of fields, including TV dramas, movies, modeling, and variety shows. He currently appears in corporate advertisements as a model and subject for web commercials.
