BACON Co., Ltd. will host a joint exhibition andmerchandise exhibition titled “The World of Miniature Bistros 2026 in Nagoya,” featuring authentic miniature dishes inspired by Italian taverns and home-style cooking, at the “TODAYS GALLERY STUDIO.NAGOYA” (Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture) from Saturday, August 22, 2026, to Sunday, September 13, 2026.This exhibition is packed with highlights, including intricate miniature works centered on the theme of “food,” as well as special exhibits, limited-edition merchandise, and new works available only here. ■What is the “World of Miniature Bistros Exhibition” with a “Food” Theme?

This new special exhibition, part of the “World of Miniature Photography” series, focuses on the particularly popular theme of “food.” It features a carefully curated selection of works that exquisitely recreate dishes that look as if steam is about to rise from them and plates that make you long for a glass of wine.On display are numerous miniature works inspired by “food,” including French home-style cooking and café meals that are “casual yet authentic” and “simple yet full of flavor.” You can enjoy a space that feels like a palm-sized restaurant, where the artist’s meticulous attention to detail is condensed into every single dish.We recommend taking in the works and snapping photos as if you were touring a series of tiny bistros. Photography is permitted throughout the venue. Experiment with different angles and compositions to find your very own “special dish,” and be sure to share it on social media.

This exhibition is a miniature art show dedicated to “food,” where you can enjoy exquisitely crafted miniature dishes in a space reminiscent of real restaurants.

The venue features a diverse collection of works, centered on new food-themed miniatures, including classic breads and sweets, full-course meals, café menus, and bento boxes. Furthermore, dishes spanning a wide range of cuisines—from Japanese to Western to Chinese—are on display, creating an atmosphere where the entire venue is filled with the feeling of “That looks delicious!”

The exhibiting artists are talented creators who have gained popularity primarily through social media. These “inedible dishes,” crafted with meticulous attention to detail—from the texture of the materials to the browning, sheen, and plating—boast a beauty and level of craftsmanship that will leave you mesmerized. Not only are they perfect for photos, but they’re also gaining attention as “delicious art” to be admired simply by looking at them.

A particular highlight is the new bakery-themed exhibition by “Mini Chubouan (@minichuubouan_tyakitchen),” known for works so intricate they could be mistaken for real kitchenware—this marks its debut at this exhibition.They’ll showcase miniature works that are so meticulously detailed—from the shop interior lined with freshly baked bread to the cooking scenes—that you’ll find yourself wanting to peek inside. Additionally, “Koinatsu (@koinatsu1327),” who creates works centered on the theme of “tiny patisseries,” will unveil a new piece created specifically for this exhibition.About 10 varieties of colorful cakes displayed in the showcase will vibrantly bring the world of a tiny patisserie to life.

Furthermore, at the merchandise booth, “Sakanasan (@sakanasan2021)—popular for humorous Japanese and Western cuisine motifs—will sell a new “Hamburger Steak Set Meal” figurine, while “ebisukaasan (@ebisukaasan)” will debut a new “Conveyor Belt Sushi-Style Clock” that can be enjoyed both as a figurine and as a timepiece.

In addition, “Uo-chan’s Fake Food Shop (@uochan_konekonendo),” which has garnered attention for its realistic 1/6-scale fake food creations, will be selling a miniature food series featuring items like “Mango Pancakes” and “Pudding à la Mode.” The venue will be filled with works and merchandise so lifelike you might mistake them for the real thing.

The venue will feature two special pop-up areas that take you on a journey through taverns around the world and fantasy restaurants.“REAL BISTRO STREET” recreates the culinary and pub cultures of countries around the world with exquisite miniatures, while “FANTASY BISTRO” features a lineup of fictional restaurants born from the creators’ imaginations. Experience a miniature world brimming with narrative, where you’ll feel as though you’re moving back and forth between reality and fantasy.

Featuring intricate miniature recreations of culinary and bar cultures from around the world—from bistros tucked away in French back alleys and Italian taverns to Taiwanese and Korean street food markets and Spanish bars.Attention to detail extends beyond the food to the kitchen utensils, signs, tables, and even the streetscape, creating an immersive space that makes you feel as if you’re walking down a street corner abroad.

Featuring fictional restaurants and cafes born from the creators’ imaginative minds—such as a bistro themed around “The Hero’s Feast” that makes you feel as if you’ve wandered into a video game world, a fantastical Gothic-style café, a diner where cat lovers gather, a restaurant run by a witch, and a cake shop where ghosts display jewel-like sweets.These fantastical spaces—where story worlds that don’t exist in reality are brought to life through intricate miniature works—are so captivating you’ll find yourself wanting to take photos of them.
