In this series, we expand the concept of Mitsuo Aida’s heartfelt words from “works to be read” to “art that enriches daily life,” proposing a new way to enjoy “calligraphy” through designs and framing techniques unique to a professional frame manufacturer.

The Modern and Premium models feature the Good Design Award-winning frames “LEAN” (2019) and “Crets” (2024). With sophisticated designs that highlight the artwork and high functionality, these frames can be enjoyed as interior accents that harmonize with a variety of spaces, including homes, offices, and retail stores.

The modern models being released this time feature the “LEAN” frame—a Good Design Award-winning product from Arna’s original “ALUMIUM Series.”

The simple, sophisticated design not only highlights the artwork itself but also blends naturally into various spaces, such as homes, offices, and hotels.

Furthermore, the premium “Kuretsu” model employs a float framing technique that raises the artwork approximately 8 mm off the backing. This creates a three-dimensional effect that makes the calligraphy appear to float in space, delivering a new viewing experience.

All products feature UV-protective acrylic and a logo plate supervised by the Mitsuo Aida Museum, combining beauty and quality.
