合同会社環境エピジェネティクス研究所
Laboratory of Environmental Epigenetics Japan, LEEG will publish *An Introduction to Environmental Epigenetics* (Tokyo Tosho Publishing) in September 2026.
In conjunction with this publication, we are running a project on the crowdfunding site “CAMPFIRE.”
If you support us through crowdfunding (https://camp-fire.jp/projects/907427/view), we will send you a copy of the first edition (with your name listed, if you wish) as they become available, and you will be able to participate free of charge in related online lectures and information exchange sessions.

Book Cover
Our health and disease are determined not only by our genes themselves but also by environmental factors such as nutritional status from the fetal stage (and, in fact, even earlier—during the lives of our parents, grandparents, and ancestors), exposure to various chemicals and physical conditions, and psychological stress. The mechanism that controls the “switching on and off” of genes is called “epigenetics,” and the field that studies how this mechanism changes due to environmental influences is known as “environmental epigenetics”—a field whose importance is now attracting global attention.Unfortunately, this concept is still not widely known in Japan, so we have begun publishing this book and organizing related activities with the aim of raising awareness among as many people as possible.
