The “Delicious Agricultural Products Event” will continue from July to October 2026!
■ Background of the “UMAUMA Agricultural Products Event”
Roadside Station Kisarazu Umakata no Sato currently has contracts with over 380 local farmers. Thanks to the cooperation of these many local farmers, the “UMAUMA Agricultural Products Event” offers participants an “all-you-can-pack” selection of vegetables, fruits, rice, and other agricultural products at a special price of “500 yen.”Driven by our desire to “spread the word about the delicious produce from local farmers,” we use so-called “non-standard” produce—items that, while just as tasty, are not sold in stores due to irregular sizes—to ensure both our customers and the farmers are delighted.
With prices for groceries and daily necessities continuing to rise due to the global surge in raw material and energy costs, we’re keeping the participation fee the same and highlighting seasonal produce to express our gratitude to you.
This “Yummy Produce Event” coincides with summer vacation and other long breaks. One of the event’s highlights is that groups of all ages and genders can participate together. We invite families and groups to challenge each other to set new records for the number of items collected—please join us to create lasting memories.Let’s stock up on plenty of nutritious, seasonal produce and get through the hot summer together with Roadside Station!
■ Scheduled Items (July–October)
*Event details are subject to change depending on weather and harvest conditions.
From July to October 2026, we’ll hold “all-you-can-pack” events every Saturday, Sunday, and national holiday. For just “500 yen,” you can take home a variety of seasonal produce from Chiba Prefecture. In addition to the all-you-can-pack event, we’ll also be hosting unique events such as the “Melon Rock-Paper-Scissors Tournament” and the “Corn-Peeling Speed Contest.”
● Corn Peeling Contest / July 4 (Sat) – 3 sessions total
Corn is often called a treasure trove of dietary fiber. It is high in carbohydrates such as sugar and starch, making it one of the most energy-dense vegetables. The trick is to divide the silks into three sections before peeling the husk. (Produced in Chiba Prefecture)

Corn Peeling Contest (July 4 (Sat) – 3 sessions total)
● All-You-Can-Pack Vegetables (2–5 Varieties) / July 5 (Sun) – 7 sessions total
We will offer 2–5 different varieties each time, focusing on summer vegetables. We will announce the specific varieties on our official Instagram account as the event dates approach. (Produced in Chiba Prefecture)

● All-You-Can-Pack: 2–5 Types of Vegetables (July 5 (Sun) – 7 sessions total)
● Melon Rock-Paper-Scissors Tournament / Saturday, July 11 only
Chiba Prefecture is a hidden gem when it comes to melon production. Melons are widely cultivated along the prefecture’s coastline, with a variety of types grown—from netted melons like the Takami Melon to the Amsu Melon and Prince Melon. (Produced in Chiba Prefecture)

Melon Rock-Paper-Scissors Tournament (Saturday, July 11 only)
● All-You-Can-Pack Blueberries / Starting July 26 (Sun) – 3 sessions total
Kisarazu City is a major blueberry-producing region. Continuing from last year, we’re offering blueberries at a great value through our “all-you-can-pack” event. While they’re often associated with being good for your eyes, they’re also rich in dietary fiber, making them perfect for promoting gut health. (Produced in Chiba Prefecture)

All-You-Can-Pack Blueberries (Starting Sunday, July 26—3 sessions total)
● All-You-Can-Stack Pumpkin Event / Saturday, August 1 only
While pumpkins are often associated with winter, they’re actually harvested in summer. They warm the body and promote digestion and nutrient absorption, making them ideal for building stamina. At this event, you can take home as many pumpkins as you can stack. (Produced in Chiba Prefecture)

All-You-Can-Stack Pumpkins (Saturday, August 1 only)
● All-You-Can-Pack Fresh Peanuts / August 29 (Sat) – 6 sessions total
Only at a Roadside Station in Chiba Prefecture—the top producer of peanuts—can we offer this “fresh” peanut all-you-can-pack event. Fresh peanuts, where freshness is key, have a high water content, so we recommend boiling them in salted water, just like edamame. (Produced in Chiba Prefecture)

● All-You-Can-Pack Fresh Peanuts (Starting Saturday, August 29—6 sessions total)
● All-You-Can-Scoop New Rice / August 30 (Sun) – 7 sessions total
You can take home as much Chiba Prefecture-grown “Tsubusuke” rice as you can fit into a masu (traditional wooden measuring cup) within the time limit. The trick is to fill it right to the brim! (Produced in Chiba Prefecture)

All-You-Can-Scoop New Rice (Starting Sunday, August 30—7 sessions total)
● All-You-Can-Pack Fresh Ginger / Starting Saturday, September 26—3 sessions total
Fresh ginger is very juicy and low in fiber, so rather than using it as a seasoning or in cooking, you can enjoy eating the ginger itself. This is a product unique to Roadside Stations that have contracted farmers. (Produced in Chiba Prefecture)

All-You-Can-Pack Fresh Ginger (Starting Saturday, September 26—3 sessions total)
● All-You-Can-Place Eggs on Plates / October 12 (Mon, Holiday) – 2 sessions total
Get as many eggs as the number of balls you place on your plate within the time limit! Treat the balls as if they were eggs and place them carefully on your plate. (Produced in Chiba Prefecture)

All-You-Can-Place Egg-Plate Balls (Starting Mon, Oct. 12 (Holiday) – 2 sessions total)
● All-You-Can-Pack Sweet Potatoes / Starting Sunday, October 18—2 sessions total
Chiba Prefecture ranks high nationwide in monthly sweet potato shipments and has a large production volume. Since sweet potatoes are sensitive to dryness and low temperatures, do not store them in the refrigerator; instead, wrap them in newspaper and store them in a cool, dark, well-ventilated place. (Produced in Chiba Prefecture)

All-You-Can-Pack Sweet Potatoes (Starting Sunday, October 18—2 sessions total)
*All prices are 500 yen (tax included).
*Event details are subject to change depending on weather and harvest conditions. Details on available items will be announced on our official Instagram account.
