Currently, many shops in Atami offer takeout items, and the culture of “eating on the go” is becoming increasingly popular. “Atami Satori Main Store (Store No. 1)” in the Atami Ginza Shopping District is one such shop, offering rich matcha sweets made with “Satori,” an original blend of matcha from Shizuoka Prefecture.Based on Store No. 1’s concept of “Making hospitality an even more special moment,” the newly grand-opening third location, “Atami Satori Main Store Okoicha Sabo,”By introducing an eat-in space (on the 2nd floor) and an eat-in-exclusive menu item, the “Okamochi Set,” the new “Atami Satori Main Store Okoicha Sabo”—the third store to open—will offer a rich matcha experience unique to a “tea room” where guests can sit back and savor their drinks, as well as a new spot to take a breather while sightseeing in Atami.

Characterized by its beautiful green color, we use “O-nōcha” (thick matcha tea) carefully prepared in-house.

“O-nōcha” is a special cup of tea made by lavishly using twice as much matcha as the “Usucha” (thin tea) commonly found, carefully whisked into a smooth, creamy consistency to bring out the refreshing and mellow umami unique to matcha.Driven by the desire to “introduce more young people to the charm of Oncha, which has long been cherished as a tea for special hospitality” and to “revitalize Atami with new matcha sweets,” the Oncha sweets specialty shop “Atami Satori Main Store” was born.

“Atami Satori Main Store” was established by the long-established “Marushichi Seicha,” a company with over 110 years of history, with the goal of ensuring that the true color, aroma, and umami of matcha could be fully appreciated even in the form of sweets.meticulously selected the “roasting time,” “roasting temperature,” and “origin,” resulting in an original blend of Shizuoka-grown matcha called “Satori”—formulated exclusively for our shop—which we use generously in our “thick matcha sweets.”You can enjoy a variety of “rich matcha sweets”—such as crepes and soft-serve ice cream—made with rich matcha carefully prepared in-house to bring out the full flavor of the matcha.
