A 100-Day Food Festival Project That Continues to Showcase the Appeal of Food "Shinjuku Gourmet Park Daisakusen," a major food festival attracting approximately 400,000 visitors, is set to take place again this year at Okubo Park in Shinjuku!

Blue Mobile Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Junya Inoue) will host a large-scale food festival project at Shinjuku City Okubo Park for approximately 100 days, from Friday, September 11, 2026, to Friday, December 25, 2026.

In recent years, the “real-world entertainment” market—where consumers voluntarily invest their time and money to participate in events centered around music, sports, and IP content—has been expanding.Among these, “food” has been attracting attention as an experiential content that many people can participate in regardless of generation or demographic, and food festivals have become a representative form of real-world entertainment where people gather, interact, and share their enthusiasm, all centered around food.

Blue Mobile, as the core company responsible for creating experiential value centered on “food” within the real-world entertainment sector promoted by the TOW Group, has planned and operated numerous food events to date.

For this project, set in Okubo Park in Shinjuku’s Kabukicho—a neighborhood long beloved as a mecca for food festivals—we will host four consecutive events over approximately 100 days: the “Tokyo Curry Expo 2026,” the “Great Tsukemen Expo presents Rā-1 Grand Prix,” the “Neighborhood Chinese & Gyoza Festival,” and “Garlic Christmas.”

Bringing together popular and trending restaurants from across the country, we aim to create a “culinary theme park” that visitors will want to return to time and again from fall through winter, thereby further revitalizing the Shinjuku Kabukicho area and showcasing its new appeal.

The event that made headlines last year by bringing together restaurants with a Tabelog rating of 3.5 or higher is back this year.Popular curry restaurants from across the country will gather, with renowned establishments spanning genres such as European-style curry, spice curry, and South Indian curry setting up shop. This year, the event has evolved into a hands-on food festival where you can enjoy creating your very own curry plate. In addition to authentic dishes like biryani and dosas, we plan to feature a topping station where you can freely mix and match ingredients.

● Great Tsukemen Expo presents Rā 1 Grand Prix

<Event Dates> Saturday, October 10, 2026 – Sunday, November 15, 2026

This year’s Great Tsukemen Expo is a fan-participation ramen event where ramen shops from across the country compete for a grand prize of 5 million yen. Online preliminaries will be held for ramen shops nationwide, and the shops selected by fan votes will gather at Okubo Park.Visitors can cast their votes while enjoying a tasting menu priced at 800 yen, helping to usher in the next generation of ramen champions. This event is being held as a new style of ramen festival where shops and fans unite to aim for the top.

● Local Chinese Cuisine and Gyoza Festival - Let’s Have a Drink at Okubo Park -

We’re hosting a food festival that combines the consistently popular gyoza with the “neighborhood Chinese” culture that has been gaining renewed attention in recent years. In addition to gyoza, the event will feature a wide range of dishes—including fried rice, mapo tofu, and shumai—allowing visitors to enjoy the charm of neighborhood Chinese cuisine. We also plan to sell original “neighborhood Chinese & Gyoza” merchandise.

● Garlic Christmas

A new Christmas event originating from Okubo Park. Under the theme “Japan’s Smelliest and Tastiest Christmas,” we’re hosting a food festival where you can fully enjoy the appeal of garlic-based dishes. A variety of aromatic garlic dishes—including ajillo, garlic steak, and peperoncino—are set to be featured.We aim to create a new winter tradition that blends the unique bustle of Kabukicho with the Christmas season.
