[About the Pudding Expo]
The Pudding Expo is a “pudding-themed food festival” centered on the theme of “delicious, joyful, and new encounters with surprising puddings.” It consists of the “Mail-Order Pudding Collection,” which sells regional puddings from all over Japan, and guest vendors such as specialty shops and live-cooking booths.
Despite being made from simple ingredients, puddings possess a wide variety of characteristics—from firmness and sweetness to texture—and we invite you to see, taste, and enjoy this vast diversity.
The “Pudding Expo” has been held in various locations across Japan, including Tokyo, Saitama, Nagoya, Osaka, Yamaguchi, and Fukuoka. This year’s venue is Kobe, known as the “City of Western Confectionery.”

[We Want the People of “Kobe,” the Kingdom of Sweets, to Enjoy It]
To delight the residents of Kobe—the “Kingdom of Sweets”—the Local Gourmet Research Association has carefully selected puddings from Hokkaido to Kyushu, offering a lineup of over 50 varieties during the event.
Additionally, at our guest booths, we’ll feature live demonstrations of a wide variety of pudding dishes, including the incredibly popular torch-flambéed “Flame Pudding”; “Pudding Can,” a pudding you shake and drink; “Pudding Fry,” frozen crème brûlée deep-fried in oil; Taiwan’s popular shaved ice dessert “Pudding Mianmian Bing (Pudding Menmenpin)”;and the surprisingly perfect pairing of “Pudding-Flavored French Fries,” among other diverse pudding items.
Organized by the same team that planned Japan’s first “Pudding Expo” in 2004, this event is one of the country’s largest and most historic pudding festivals, having attracted 40,000 visitors during its 2025 Saitama edition. This marks the first time the event has been held in the Kansai region in 15 years, since the 2011 Osaka edition.
