Maebashi Akagi Roadside Station to Host “Taiwan Fair 2026” on July 4 and 5 Featuring a “Night Market” theme, the event will bring together food, cultural experiences, and live performances

Following the success of the past two years, when we welcomed many visitors, we are pleased to announce that the “Taiwan Fair 2026” will be held.

This year, the “Maebashi Akagi Roadside Station Taiwan Fair 2026” will feature “night markets” as its main theme.At various shops throughout the Roadside Station, we’ve prepared a variety of activities—including “Taiwanese cuisine” that can only be savored in Taiwan itself, “cultural experiences,” and spectacular “stage events”—to make you feel as if you’re on a trip to Taiwan.

Furthermore, the “Taiwanese lanterns” that you all decorated during the “Taiwanese Lantern Painting Experience” held over Golden Week will adorn the food court and farmers’ market, further enhancing the atmosphere of a “Taiwanese night market.” The event hours have also been extended into the evening, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the night market ambiance.
