Asentec Co., Ltd. ■The Global Expansion of “AI Factories”

Schneider Electric is a global company founded in France and a world leader in the field of power and facility management for data centers, factories, and buildings.

In recent years, driven by the proliferation of generative AI, investment in AI-specialized data centers—known as “AI Factories”—has been rapidly expanding worldwide. Against this backdrop, Schneider Electric is leading the market both domestically and internationally by providing end-to-end solutions that support the infrastructure of AI Factories, ranging from power systems to cooling and monitoring software.

■ Expanding Our Cloud Infrastructure Business into AI Factories

To date, we have developed our cloud infrastructure-related business primarily around IT infrastructure such as servers, storage, and networks.

Taking the launch of sales for Schneider Electric’s products as an opportunity, we are expanding our cloud infrastructure business to include the areas that support AI Factories.

As a result, we will evolve from our traditional IT equipment sales to a business that supports AI data centers—including power and cooling—enabling us to offer proposals with even higher added value.

■About Schneider Electric’s Cooling and UPS Products

Schneider Electric’s cooling products are solutions that enable a wide range of optimized thermal management—from individual racks to entire facilities—to address thermal loads in data centers and IT environments.For localized air conditioning systems, we support a variety of configurations—including between-rack and rear-of-rack types—as well as cooling methods such as refrigerant-based and water-cooled systems. This enables efficient thermal management suitable for high-density GPU environments and AI workloads, while supporting a wide range of applications from retrofitting existing facilities to building next-generation AI factories.

In addition, our UPS products provide highly reliable and efficient power supplies that protect servers and network equipment from power outages and voltage fluctuations.With a broad product lineup ranging from APC-branded products for edge and small-to-medium-sized environments to three-phase products for data centers, we strongly support the continuous operation of IT systems and data protection through UPS status monitoring using management tools such as “PowerChute” and “EcoStruxure / DCIM.”

Going forward, we will combine Schneider Electric’s UPS products with our on-premises AI platform, “Edge AI Array,” and our remote access solution, “Remote PC Array,” to offer solutions that reduce the risk of data loss and equipment failure while further enhancing system availability.
