■ CODE BLUE's Efforts to Foster the Next Generation

CODE BLUE continues to be held with one of its goals being to revitalize and strengthen cooperation in cybersecurity across Asia, as well as to discover talented young researchers from Japan and Asia and propel them onto the international stage. In particular, we firmly believe that gaining experience in an international setting will lead to significant growth for the younger generation. CODE BLUE serves as a venue for networking and friendly competition with overseas engineers, awarding research grants to outstanding young researchers and providing student staff with opportunities to attend presentations. Over 10 years since the first conference, we have promoted the building of networks among students, companies, industry organizations, and the students themselves. As a result, our efforts to foster the next generation have borne fruit, with some students securing jobs in the cybersecurity industry and even taking the stage as speakers.

1) Call for Student Staff

CODE BLUE is looking for student volunteer staff to help run the conference. While supporting the operations as a member of CODE BLUE, this is an excellent opportunity to directly experience the excitement of an international conference where researchers and engineers at the forefront of cybersecurity gather. You can attend cutting-edge presentations, work with like-minded peers, and interact with representatives from sponsor companies. Furthermore, if you are lucky, you may even have the chance to speak directly with the speakers.

● Voices of Past Student Staff (Excerpts/Summary from Questionnaire) The CODE BLUE student staff experience receives high praise every year from participating students for opportunities such as interacting with top-level experts and sponsor companies from Japan and abroad, as well as building networks with peers of their generation. The following are some of the comments received from past participants:

- Enhanced Career Resolution through Interaction with Experts and Companies

"By talking directly with experts and corporate professionals active on the front lines globally and domestically, I was able to understand the skills required in this field, which significantly increased the clarity of my future career."

- Building Networks with Peers and Boosting Motivation

"I was able to interact deeply with like-minded peers from all over the country. We inspired each other, and my motivation for future research and learning in the cybersecurity field improved dramatically."

- Gaining World-Class Knowledge and Experience in Running a Large-Scale Event

"In addition to gaining cutting-edge knowledge, being involved behind the scenes in running one of Japan's largest international conferences made me realize the importance of adaptability and communication, leading to practical growth."
