Fujisaki Textile Co. (President: Tadashi Fujinabe) will launch on June 5, 2026 the originally designed cold process soap "Hokusai Soap" featuring Hokusai Katsushika's masterpiece "Fugaku Sanjurokkei Kanagawaoki Naniura" (36 Views of Mount Fuji). Hokusai Soap will go on sale on June 5, 2026.

Hokusai Soap

Hokusai Soap is a product born in Ryogoku and Sumida, the two areas associated with Hokusai, while placing importance on "human- and environment-friendly manufacturing," which is typical of ktp.labo.

The pattern expressing the flow and fluctuation of waves is handmade by craftsmen one by one, and the shape and pattern of the waves are all different. As a soap that looks like a small art piece, it turns your daily bath time or face-washing time into something a little special.

This product uses the "cold process manufacturing method," in which heat is not added and the soap is slowly aged. The moisturizing ingredients contained in plant-derived oils are not easily destroyed, and the product is rich in glycerin, which is naturally produced during the manufacturing process, resulting in a moisturizing and cleansing experience. In cooperation with a soap factory specializing in the cold process method, each soap is carefully manufactured one by one, paying close attention to the materials, manufacturing process, and design.
