Relize Home Representative Participates in Guide Dog Experience Program Donation to Eye Mate Association and support membership Continuous support for the visually impaired

Relize Home Co. (Head office: Kodaira City, Tokyo; Representative Director: Shinya Kaneko), a real estate brokerage firm, has made a donation to the Eye Mate Association, a public interest incorporated foundation that supports the independence of the visually impaired and fosters and promotes the use of guide dogs (eye mate). In addition, we have started to provide continuous support as a supporting member of the association.

This donation was made possible after Mr. Kaneko, President and Representative Director of the Company, participated in a hands-on program held by the Eye Mate Association on May 30, 2026 (Saturday), and deeply empathized with the philosophy and social significance of the activities of this foundation.

Experience Walking" with Eye Mate

The "essence of support" learned through the experience

In the program on the day of the event, the staff of the Eye Mate Association explained the current situation and social issues surrounding the visually impaired, and participants had a "trial walk" with an eye mate, role plays to learn appropriate support methods for the visually impaired, and a question-and-answer session with the participants.

In particular, the experience of walking with an eye-mate was a valuable opportunity for the participants to realize the importance of "walking support based on trust" and to deepen their understanding of the anxiety and difficulties that visually impaired people experience in their daily lives.

Through this experience, Mr. Kaneko strongly felt that "the support needed by society begins not only with knowledge, but also with an "attitude of trying to know." In addition to this donation, he has decided to become a support member in order to provide ongoing support for the activities.

Continuous Support, Not One-Stop-Shop Support

It takes a long time and a lot of support to raise eye-mates. We will support the activities of the Eye Mate Association over the long term by not only making a one-time donation but also making continuous donations as a Support Member.
