About the production
IGI, Taki Corporation's branding and production division company, designed the logo and packaging for "Herz," a lifestyle emotional brand launched by Kumiko Funayama, known as "Kumikki. Herz" is a brand that proposes "what is truly valuable" to people's lifestyles in general, which Kumiko Funayama has realized through her own experiences. The brand not only offers products to its customers, but also considers it important to create bonds and a chain of happiness that is created through human interaction.

We wanted to visualize as a visual identity the concept of "What you can't see has value", which is important for a brand. --When I first heard these words from Mr. Funayama, the owner of the brand, I still remember that I reflexively felt that I had been given a difficult task.
For about two years, the whole team at LIENA and I have been carefully and earnestly thinking about how we should present the "Herz skin" brand to users and what kind of packaging and worldview it should have to achieve this.
We are honestly happy that these days have been recognized in such an international competition.
I would like to use this experience as a springboard to create the next brand, and I would like to work with the team to face the next challenge with sincerity.
