Winemakers from Around the World Serve as “One-Day Store Managers” in Tokyo

"Climat," a Hidden Gem Wine Bar in Roppongi, Launches a New Project ~A New Venue Where Winemakers Themselves Stand Behind the Counter to Share Their Stories~

LE RAISIN Inc.

A Hidden Gem of a Wine Bar in Roppongi

“Climat · A Vigneronne’s Bar”

following its renovation in May 2026, will launch a new project targeting winemakers from Japan and abroad as its next step.

In recent years, as opportunities for overseas winemakers to visit Japan have increased, there has been a growing demand in Tokyo for events where winemakers themselves can present their wines and share their stories firsthand.

This project further expands Climat’s concept of “a space where winemakers tell their stories firsthand,” providing vignerons (winemakers) from around the world with a “stage” in the heart of Tokyo’s Roppongi to showcase their wines and philosophies.

Furthermore, this initiative will be rolled out as a new format in which the winemakers themselves will stand behind the bar.

New Project Overview: “Climat · A Vigneron’s Bar”

Climat, which has previously operated as “Vigneronne’s Bar” featuring female winemakers, will open its doors to all winemakers—regardless of gender or nationality—through this project.

Participating winemakers can use our venue for a single day during their visit to Japan to host a special event where they take center stage.

・“One-Day-Only Bar” featuring their own wines

・Hosting paid wine-tasting sessions and tasting events

・Direct sales to visitors (*We hold a liquor license)

• Talk events to share their stories

More than just a pop-up,

but rather a “space to deliver the winemaker’s ideas, philosophy, and the story of the land as an experiential journey,” allowing for highly flexible planning and design.

“Co-creation” Planning: Support from the Conceptual Stage

This project is more than just a venue rental.

・Event Concept Design

・Target Audience/Pricing Strategy

・Promotional support

・On-site operational support

Through these services and more, we’ll work together to design experiences that bring out the creator’s unique personality to the fullest.

Starting with the idea, “What if we could do this?”,

we co-create “experiences that sell” and “memorable spaces.”

Taking Wine Culture to the Next Level at the “Crossroads” of Tokyo

Tokyo is a city where wine producers from around the world come and go.

Located in Roppongi—the heart of the city—Climat has long served as a “crossroads” connecting wineries and the city, as well as winemakers and wine enthusiasts.

Through this project,

・A new hub for international winemakers visiting Japan

• A venue for domestic winemakers to take on new challenges

・A platform for direct interaction with wine enthusiasts

, aiming to further develop wine culture.

Comment from the Representative (Misa Shimada)

“This place is not just a bar; it is a ‘stage where the stories of the land are told.’

I believe that when winemakers from around the world gather in Tokyo to share their stories firsthand, the value of wine becomes deeper and richer.

I myself studied abroad near Napa, California, during high school, where I was exposed to the local wine culture and the philosophies of the winemakers. Based on that experience, I strongly empathize with the backgrounds and values of overseas producers, and I cherish that understanding in this project as well.

If you’re coming all the way to Tokyo, I hope you’ll stand behind the counter—even if just for one night—to pour your own wine and share your story in your own words.

I would be delighted if Climat could become a place where that happens.”
