Vectology Inc. (Headquarters: Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture; President: Yoshikazu Shinoda; hereinafter "Vectology") will participate as a technology partner in a joint demonstration test of remote construction using a real-time digital twin infrastructure to be started in June 2026 by Hitachi Construction Machinery Co. (headquartered in Kochi City, Kochi Prefecture; Masashi Oba, President; hereinafter "Fukutome Kaihatsu") will participate as technical partners in a joint demonstration test of remote construction using a real-time digital twin platform, which will begin in June 2026. Vectology will provide its panoramic vision system "Accuvision(R)," which supports the understanding of a wide range of situations at construction sites.
This verification test will be conducted from June 1, 2026 to July 31, 2026 at a construction site in Tosa City, Kochi Prefecture, Japan, to verify the improvement of safety and productivity by utilizing a real-time digital twin infrastructure through remote construction of excavation work using a hydraulic excavator.
In recent years, there has been growing interest in remote construction as a means of achieving both safety and productivity against the backdrop of labor shortages in the construction industry. In conventional remote construction, construction equipment has been operated mainly based on camera images, but there have been challenges in gaining a bird's eye view of the entire construction site, including changes in the terrain, other construction equipment and vehicles, and workers. Since August 2025, Vectology has been verifying the feasibility of using Accuvision(R) in the construction machinery field at the Kasumigaura Value Creation Hub, a research and development facility of Hitachi Construction Machinery Co. The current verification test is to confirm the feasibility of using Accuvision(R) in remote construction at the construction site, based on the verification to date.
Vectology's Accuvision(R) is a video processing system that corrects wide-angle video from fisheye cameras and other sources in real time to create panoramic video with a wide field of view that is easy to see. By capturing a wide range of images of construction site conditions, Accuvision(R) makes it easier for remote operators and managers to grasp the site, thereby supporting the advancement of safety confirmation in remote construction.

About Accuvision(R)
Accuvision(R) is a video processing system that corrects wide-angle video from fisheye cameras and other sources in real time to create panoramic video that is easy to view over a wide area. It is characterized by its ability to minimize video distortion while maintaining a wide field of view, making it easier to intuitively grasp the situation on site.
The system is intended for use in applications that require immediate assessment of the situation, such as drones, construction machinery, infrastructure inspection, security and surveillance, and robotics.
