Book & Dragon Cookie Tin
This product is designed as a baked confectionery that allows customers to "taste" the story after reading the book. The motifs and characters that appear in the book are expressed in the form of cookies.
A baked confectionary shop that began with the desire to "turn stories into baked sweets
Momoko Murakami (Momoko Katsuki, author of children's stories) opened the bakery "Acelli no Oyatsu" in 2019 to express the world of the stories she started writing during a long-term hospital stay at the age of 20 in a "form that can actually be eaten". Since then, he has continued to make baked sweets with motifs of characters and scenes from the story.
The newly published "Secret of the Moon Wheel" is an original children's story that he had conceived since the beginning of his business. 2023, when he met a representative from Bungeisha, he started the publication project, raised part of the production cost through crowdfunding, and published 1,000 copies on May 4, 2026. The book is currently available at bookstores nationwide and online.
The book's cover design and five illustrations were done by the daughter, who also works as an illustrator. The book is the result of a parent-child collaboration.
In conjunction with the publication of the book, we are also working to deliver the book to children. Some of the books are being donated to local elementary and junior high schools, hospitals, and other places where children gather throughout Japan.
In addition, cookie tins inspired by the world of the story were presented to Anjo City Hall and Fujita Medical College Hospital.
Based on the idea that "food is nutrition for the body, books are nutrition for the mind," we aim to create memorable experiences for children through books and baked sweets.

Types of cookies
Inside the tin are cookies made from the bounty of the Red Tree, where maple syrup is harvested and leaves change color year-round, and other baked goods that represent the motifs of the story. For example, there is a scene in the book where the good witch Acelli, in order to protect the "happy mushrooms" from the bad witch, bakes them at a high temperature and hides them in cookies.
The cookie tin also contains "Happiness Mushroom Cookies," a reproduction of the mushrooms, which can be tasted after reading the book to bring the world of the story closer to the reader. In addition, the first cookie tin features the dragon that appears in the story as the main character cookie.
The series will continue to be available for pre-order, with the main character changing each month.
The series will be developed as a new reading experience that connects "reading, imagining, and tasting.
