Introduction of Japanese Performing Groups
Two student music groups representing Japan have been selected to perform at this year's exchange program.
Teikyo University Symphonic Band
The Teikyo University Symphonic Band is one of the oldest and largest music groups on campus, and performs under the motto of "Unity, Progress, and Passion. The club has been vigorously expanding its activities, including participation in the All Japan Wind Music Competition and performances rooted in the local community.
In this performance, we will present the gorgeous and powerful sound that only a brass band can deliver. The Ochanomizu Symphony Orchestra will perform with the energy of a young band.
The Ochanomizu Orchestra
The Ochanomizu Orchestra consists of approximately 150 university students from Tokyo University of Science (formerly Tokyo Medical and Dental University) and Ochanomizu University.
In this performance, the orchestra will present a dynamic and delicate program centered on masterpieces of classical music. Please come and experience the passionate stage performance that only a student orchestra can deliver.

The Colorado Springs Youth Symphony is the flagship ensemble and top-ranking full orchestra of the Colorado Springs Youth Symphony Orchestra.
The orchestra has toured internationally in Japan, Australia, China, Greece, Turkey, and various European countries, and has performed on world-class stages such as Carnegie Hall and the Sydney Opera House.
The orchestra also focuses on educational programs, contributing greatly to the development of music education in the local community and the training of young musicians.
