Colorado Springs Youth Symphony
This concert is a special project in which a 65-member youth orchestra that has been performing around the world will come to Japan to create a single stage together with Japanese student groups.
In Yokohama, the stage for the performance, young musicians from Japan and the U.S. will meet through sound and resonate with each other beyond culture and language.
The Colorado Springs Youth Symphony, which will visit Japan, is a talented orchestra that has performed at Carnegie Hall, the Sydney Opera House, and other world-class venues. The performance in Japan will be a rare opportunity.
Two Japanese groups are scheduled to perform at this concert.

About the Visiting Groups
The Colorado Springs Youth Symphony is the flagship ensemble and top-ranked full orchestra of the Colorado Springs Youth Symphony Orchestra.
The orchestra has toured internationally in Japan, Australia, China, Greece, Turkey, and various European countries, and has performed on world-class stages such as Carnegie Hall and the Sydney Opera House.
The orchestra also focuses on educational programs, contributing greatly to the development of music education in local communities and the training of young musicians.
