T-SQUARE Music Entertainment, Inc. will release "VOYAGE," the second original album of the new T-SQUARE, on Wednesday, June 3, 2026.

A year and a half has passed since that dramatic encounter. Youth is, after all, an amazing thing, and I can't help but "grin" at the way these young people have grown. I say "wow" here to mean that you can't help but smile with joy.

As you can see from their live performances, they have grown a lot in the past year and a half. There is a solidity and stability in their playing, and in terms of improvisation, they express themselves freely and uninhibitedly within limited constraints. Their unique qualities, which cannot be imitated in terms of sensitivity alone, shine even brighter through the filter of T-SQUARE.

They have also grown remarkably as composers, and this album presents a new frontier for them. Joined by veterans Ito and Bando, T-SQUARE is now performing as a band in a truly ideal way.

Without being distracted by the mundane (and I mean no disrespect), musical activities are left to the discretion of the individual members according to their own ideas. Some hone their skills by playing other people's games, some wear two hats with their studies, and others stay in the mountains and follow their own path, each making their own autonomous choices. The band focuses on carefully selected performance environments and activities, such as concert hall tours, festival appearances, and performances with orchestras, and the two-straddle lifestyle under the policy of prioritizing academics is managed based on their own free choice, which is also accepted by those around them. Such a choice itself has in fact led to the growth of the members.

Music is not something that can be pushed too hard, but it is important and necessary to be free.

I believe that the daily accumulation of such experiences is the underlying factor behind the fresh, energetic, and attractive sound of T-SQUARE's music.

In response to many requests from fans, "MOON OVER THE CASTLE" is included in this album. This song was originally released by Masayo Ando's unit ANDY'S, and later became a big hit as the theme music for the PlayStation's "GRAN TURISMO". Later, the old T-SQUARE also covered the song. Toshi Bandoh added the prologue and epilogue and arranged the music.

The new T-SQUARE includes Takeshi Ito, a debut member in 1978, who composed and produced the music that supported the foundation of Square, and Satoshi Bandoh, who became one of the top drummers in Japan, as well as Shingo Tanaka on bass, who supported Square as a support member for many years and joined as an official member last year. Shingo Tanaka, a bass player who has supported Square as a support member for many years and joined as an official member last year, has also joined the band. In addition, talented newcomers Yuichi Hasegawa, a graduate student at Nagoya University majoring in computers, on keyboards, and Shuya Kameyama, a student in the Department of Mechanical Systems Engineering at Doshisha University's Faculty of Science and Engineering, on guitar. They are both extremely talented graduate and undergraduate students in the sciences.
