MULGA x Sanrio Characters First Collaboration Opening in Japan on 4/1

The Ruusee Company, (Headquarters: Tokyo, President: Rumiko Nakayama) is pleased to announce a special collaboration between MULGA, a popular Australian artist managed by The Ruusee Company, and the world-famous Sanrio character.

This will be MULGA's first collaboration with Sanrio characters.

The commemorative collection will be first shown in Japan at the official online store of MULGA and at the MULGA POPUP at the Tamagawa Takashimaya Department Store from April 2026.

Sanrio Characters, including Hello Kitty and Cinnamoroll, are featured in the colorful and humorous world of MULGA, creating a new MULGA design.

This collaboration began with one family's little story.

Every year, MULGA responds to children's requests to draw their favorite things on their birthdays and presents them with a special drawing.

One year, my daughter Pearl said, "Someday I want you to draw me a Cinnamoroll in a MULGA version."

He wanted to please his daughter, who loves Cinnamoroll.

From this father's desire, a story was born in MULGA's mind.
