株式会社ホロニック
HORONIC Corporation (Head office: Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture; Representative Director: Ichiro Osada), which operates community hotels mainly in the Kansai region, will open a new hotel, CETRAY CANAL Nagoya, on June 18, 2026 (Thursday), its first entry into the Tokai region.

This will be the sixth hotel under the CETRAY brand, and is scheduled to begin accepting reservations for accommodations on March 5, 2026 (Thursday).
This facility was created as part of the "NAKAGAWA CANAL DOORS" redevelopment project in the Nakagawa Canal Horidome area. By carefully deciphering the history, culture, and the flow of water and wind in the area, and incorporating them into the relationship between space, food, and people, the facility will offer a stay experience that can only be created here*. *Surveyed by the company

NAKAGAWA CANAL DOORS
Background and Significance of Opening
Settre has always placed importance on the "local character" of the area, and has developed its hotels not as places to stay, but as "media for encountering the local community" by dealing with the local producers, culture, and climate. We have developed the hotel not as a "place to stay" but as a "media to encounter the local community. Rather than simply "connecting" with the local community, the hotel captures the time and stories that live in the area and translates them into space, food, and human interactions, weaving a stay experience that can only be created here. The Nakagawa Canal once supported Nagoya's logistics and industry and quietly watched over the city's growth. CETRAY CANAL Nagoya will be born at the water's edge, where the past and future, the everyday and the extraordinary softly intersect. We hope to create a "place to stay" that quietly raises questions about the local community, society, and future lifestyles, as a place in the city that breathes in the presence of nature and opens one's senses.
Concept
From the Nakagawa Canal, a stay that weaves the future.
The Nakagawa Canal has supported logistics and industry in the past, and has watched over the growth of the city. This hotel was created with the hope that the time spent by the waterfront will be an opportunity to reflect on the future of the region, society, and the earth. Water and greenery, soft breezes, and changing light. This is not just a place to stay, but a base where the past and the future, the ordinary and the extraordinary intersect to weave a new way of life. This is not just a place to stay.
Values that SETRE values
SETRE is a hotel that weaves together the "character of the local area.
History and culture, the flow of water and wind. SETRE has been delivering experiences that go beyond "staying" by reflecting the time that has flowed through the land in the space, food, and human interactions.
At the Nakagawa Canal in Nagoya, we cherish the breath of the waterside, where city and nature overlap, and nurture opportunities for people to become aware of their connection to the region and the environment through their stay. We take a short break from everyday life to open up our sensibilities. This is an editorial base for the waterfront.
Four things this place values
In the Nakagawa Canal area, which is undergoing redevelopment, we propose a new value for staying by the water.
01|A short walk from Nagoya Station
A short walk from Nagoya Station, the waterside of the Nakagawa Canal appears as if the hustle and bustle of the city is about to melt away.
It is a place where you can feel the expanse of water, wind, and sky, even though it is an extension of the city.

02|Sauna, a time to get in shape
Surrounded by water and wood, you will regain your senses. A sauna made of wood from Aichi Prefecture and a half-open-air bathhouse where you can feel the presence of the canal. Warming, relaxing, and quietly regulating. You will experience a deep lingering sensation that is unique to this place.

03|All Inclusive
Choose nothing, just let yourself go. Everything you need for your stay is already here, from drinks and snacks to time spent in the lounge. The comfort of not having to think about it will help you slowly unwind from time to time.

The breeze along the waterfront and the presence of the Shinkansen bullet train running in front of you. Here, where the city and nature overlap, the flickering fire and the shadows of the trees gently illuminate the night. Just sit, watch, talk, and do nothing. These moments gradually become "a time to return to yourself.

The light from the Nagoya Expressway, the surface of the Nakagawa Canal, and the soft breeze overlap each other.
A "waterside oasis" where you can spend a special time away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
PROJECT|Circulating sauna created with "Forest of Apde
SUSTAINABILITY|Creating a sauna that is connected to the forest and the future
Sauna × APDe Forest "Sauna that circulates" created with trees in the APDe Forest
The sauna at CETRAY CANAL Nagoya uses wood grown in the APDe Forest in Aichi Prefecture. This initiative aims to revitalize the environment and recycle local resources by properly maintaining and "updating" the forest, which has become inadequately cared for.
This sauna is not just a facility to "update" the forest. The sauna is not just a facility for "getting ready"; it is a place where people can contemplate the connections between nature, people, cities, and the environment while being enveloped in the fragrance of wood that has inherited the time of the forest. This sauna is a space where your stay itself becomes an opportunity to encounter a sustainable future.

Apde Forest 2
*"Apde no Mori" is an environmental project and program developed by Chukyo TV that focuses on the regeneration of forests and sustainable resource recycling. Through efforts to protect and utilize local forests, we are working to connect people, forests, and the future.
About the "NAKAGAWA CANAL DOORS" complex
This hotel will be the core of the "NAKAGAWA CANAL DOORS" waterfront complex, which is undergoing redevelopment. The hotel, restaurants, cafes, saunas, and places for work and socializing will be loosely connected to form a "waterfront hub" that will accommodate the different ways in which visitors spend their time.
CETRAY CANAL Nagoya aims to be not only a place to stay overnight, but also a place that fosters a new culture and liveliness along the waterfront.
Future Prospects
CETRAY CANAL Nagoya will not only function as a lodging facility, but will also aim to become a base for fostering new liveliness and culture together with the local community. As the starting point for new developments in the Tokai area, we plan to make the hotel function as a "media for editing and transmitting information about the region.
