Strawberries and sweet summer are newly added to the "Umauma Vegetable Event," an all-you-can-stuffed event of produce filled with the love of local contract farmers!
Background of "Umamauma Vegetable Event
The number of local farmers contracted by Michi-no-Eki Kisarazu Kitakita-no-sato has now exceeded 380. The "Umamauma Vegetable Event" will be held with the cooperation of these local contract farmers, and participants will receive all-you-can-eat packages of produce at a discount. We want to make the delicious produce of local farmers widely known. From providing substandard produce to please not only our customers but also the farmers, we are now changing to providing good quality produce with the farmers' desire to produce good products.
With the cost of living rising due to a series of price hikes that began with food products, we will hold the event at a price that responds to the wishes of our customers, even if only a little, and also spotlight seasonal products, all at one coin with the participation fee unchanged.
On May 9 (Sat) and June 28 (Sun), 2026, visitors will be able to get a variety of Chiba-grown vegetables at the "All-you-can-stuff 5 kinds of vegetables" event, and on June 14 (Sun) and 27 (Sat), a "corn peeling contest" will be held where participants can take home only the number of corn peeled within a time limit.
Other than the corn peeling contest, there will be a wide variety of agricultural products such as rice, onions, strawberries, and sweet summer fruits, all of which are in season.
