Supporters' Club Launched for "Warabi-za" Activities in Tokyo Metropolitan Area Audience "Let's go!" to support the Tokyo production of "HANA

The Metropolitan Warabi-za Supporters Club, a community of mainly residents in the Tokyo metropolitan area (Tokyo, Kanagawa, Chiba, Saitama), has been established by volunteer fans of the Akita-based theater company, Warabi-za, who are active throughout Japan.

Attractiveness of hands-on experience

This club will not act as a public relations agent for the theater company, but will aim to create an entry point for first-time theatergoers to feel comfortable stepping into the theater by continuously inviting fellow audience members and fans to share their impressions of the theater with each other.

The group is managed by members of the "Akita Industry Supporter Club," which supports Akita Prefecture's industries from the Tokyo metropolitan area. Akita Prefecture is facing severe challenges such as a declining population. This club was founded with the idea of energizing Akita by supporting the Akita-based musical theater company "Warabi-za" from the Tokyo metropolitan area.

2. Festival Theater "HANA" Tokyo performance and the efforts of this club

Festival Theater HANA Tokyo Performance

The Tokyo performance of Warabi-za's Festival Theater "HANA" is scheduled to be held at THEATER MILANO-Za, Tokyu Kabukicho Tower from March 14 (Sat) to 22 (Sun), 2026.

The Association will continue its efforts to create an environment in the Tokyo metropolitan area that will trigger people to see the Warabi-za Theater and, by extension, revitalize the community that enlivens Akita Prefecture.

As the first step after the launch, the following measures will be implemented to ensure that audiences can smoothly step into the theater for the main performance.

Improvement of the lead line for first-time visitors: Organize and share common concerns (participatory staging, venue flow lines, etc.).

Recruitment and operation of shared impressions: Establishment of rules for posting and introduction of impressions.

Introduction to the community: Explanation of the purpose of the event to the metropolitan community, kenjinkai, companies, etc.

Planning of exchange opportunities: Online/offline exchange and sharing opportunities (as needed)
