Kiki" will be available at the online store from January 20 (Tue) and at the Muromachi main store from January 25 (Sun).

Kiki" is a brightly colored, slow-cooked sugar candy made with five different flavors of agar candy and three types of chocolate, each carefully coated by hand.

5 kinds of rainbow flowers (peach, mint, lemon, violet, orange)

3 kinds of chocolate (raspberry chocolate, white chocolate, sweet chocolate)

Chocolates that match well with agar candy were selected to create a different flavor for each piece. Please enjoy each flavor.

Shikanakashoin Kyoto Muromachi Honten opened in August 2009 on Kyoto's Muromachi Street, in a corner where long-established kimono merchants stand side by side. The name of the store reflects our desire to provide a place where we can entertain our customers with a flowery spirit and let them enjoy the original taste of our confectionaries. This machiya with a wide frontage was built in the 13th year of the Genroku Era (1688-1704), which is rare in Kyoto. Passing through the noren (curtain), you will see an earthen floor. Freshly made confectionaries from the workshop are lined up in the spacious room, which still retains the atmosphere of the old days with its stove and cobblestone pavement. In the tea house, the aroma of tea wafts through the air, and you can enjoy a relaxing moment while gazing out at the courtyard.
