Domestic Chinese Tea Shop “Oka Chaho” Opens in Denenchofu, Tokyo on 12/21 Delivering “Undiscoverd taste and aroma” grown in Japan Selling “WaChina” brand tea
桜花茶舗
On December 21, 2025, "Oka Chaho (Cherry Blossom Tea Shop)" (located at 2-45-2 Denenchofu, Ota-ku, Tokyo), will open an actual store specializing in rare Chinese teas (such as Oolong tea) produced in Japan. We have named this new genre of tea "WaChina*". We support the passion of tea farmers in Japan who are taking on the challenge and propose a new option for Japanese tea culture.
WaChina" is a registered trademark (No. 6999085).
Beyond the trend: "WaChina" coming after "Japanese black tea
In recent years, "Japanese black tea," a black tea produced in Japan, has gained popularity for its delicate taste. In fact, behind this trend, "Japanese oolong tea" with surprisingly high aroma has been created through the advanced technology of Japanese tea plantations. We are convinced that this "Japanese oolong tea" will be the next trend following Japanese black tea, and we have developed our own brand name "WaChina" (trademark registered). We deliver rare tea leaves, which are rarely sold in the market, directly from the producer to your table.
This project is not just about selling products, but also about promoting and supporting "new challenges" by Japanese tea farmers.

Commitment of the head office and the form of "support
1. Direct partnership with organic farms that support "WaChina
The owner of the store personally visits "WaChina" producers throughout Japan. We only purchase directly from farms that follow organic farming methods that do not rely on pesticides or chemical fertilizers.
New tea life from Denenchofu
At a quiet store in Denenchofu, an upscale residential area, visitors can experience new tastes and aromas unique to "WaChina," which are different from those of China and Taiwan. We offer a surprising experience that overturns the image of Japanese tea.
Contribution to a sustainable tea industry
By promoting the name "WaChina," we aim to secure a new source of revenue for tea farmers and contribute to the diversification of Japan's tea culture.
