Compliant with the "Children's PSC" of the Consumer Products Safety Act

For over 40 years, Oak Village has been manufacturing and selling wooden toys that take advantage of the appeal of a variety of Japanese timbers such as oak, chestnut, cherry, and Japanese ash. After undergoing product safety evaluation testing by an external inspection agency, we are now able to sell our wooden toys for infants and toddlers under 3 years old with the Children's PSC mark in compliance with the "Revised Consumer Products Safety Act" that went into effect on December 25, 2012. We hope that our safe and secure toys produced in Japanese forests will help young children develop a rich sensibility at home.

What is the Children's PSC Mark under the "Revised Consumer Products Safety Act"?

The "Revised Consumer Products Safety Act" under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry designates toys and beds for infants and toddlers as specified products and makes it mandatory, starting December 25, 2025, to display the "Children's PSC Mark" to indicate that they comply with the technical and safety standards set by the government.

The purpose of this system is to prevent serious accidents among general consumers and strengthen product safety.
